Service Engineer - Diesel Generator

Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of diesel generators at customer sites.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues in diesel generators.
• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
• Prepare detailed service reports and documentation for each job performed.
• Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and provide excellent technical support.
• Assist in training customers on the proper operation and maintenance of diesel generators.
• Maintain inventory of tools and parts required for service operations.
• Adhere to safety standards and regulations while performing all tasks.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• HSC (Higher Secondary Certificate) in a relevant field.
• 1 to 7 years of experience in servicing diesel generators or related electrical equipment.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems and mechanical components.
• Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing electrical and mechanical issues.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to customer locations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Diploma or certification in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience with specific brands or models of diesel generators.
• Knowledge of safety standards and environmental regulations.
