Rmpm Jewel Industry India Limited is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. This full-time position is ideal for a motivated professional with a strong background in accounting and financial management. The Senior Accountant will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of our organization, ensuring compliance with regulations, and supporting strategic financial planning.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports in accordance with accounting standards.
• Manage the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and timely.
• Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes to maintain cash flow and manage working capital.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, analyzing variances and providing insights.
• Coordinate with external auditors during financial audits and ensure all necessary documentation is provided.
• Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and standards.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior accounting staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
• Support the implementation of new accounting software and processes to improve efficiency.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5 to 10 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably in a manufacturing or jewelry industry.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certification such as CPA or CMA is a plus.
• Experience with ERP systems is highly desirable.
