The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, maintaining corporate governance standards, and providing expert advice on various corporate matters. This is a full-time position that offers a competitive salary ranging from INR 50,000 to INR 1,00,000, based on experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Ensure compliance with the Companies Act and other relevant legislation.
  • Maintain statutory registers and records as required by law.
  • Prepare and file necessary documents with regulatory authorities.
  • Assist in the preparation of board meeting agendas and minutes.
  • Advise on corporate governance best practices and implement necessary policies.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors and regulators.
  • Manage shareholder communications and ensure proper documentation of resolutions.
  • Support the management team with legal and compliance-related queries.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 1 to 10 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a corporate environment.
  • Strong understanding of corporate laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and corporate secretarial software.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional qualification as a Company Secretary (C.S.) is an advantage.
  • Experience in a consultancy or financial services environment.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
