Job Overview

Kalinda Technical Services & Consultancy is seeking talented and detail-oriented AutoCAD Draftsmen to join our dynamic Mechanical Engineering team. The ideal candidates will have a strong foundation in drafting principles and a passion for creating accurate and high-quality engineering drawings. This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary range of 20,000 to 30,000, with opportunities for professional growth and development.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Prepare detailed mechanical drawings and schematics using AutoCAD software.
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to develop design specifications and requirements.
• Review and modify existing drawings based on project updates and feedback.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in drafting.
• Maintain accurate documentation and project files for reference and quality control.
• Assist in the development of design proposals and presentations for clients.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss project progress and challenges.
• Stay updated with new drafting technologies and industry trends.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• High School Certificate (HSC) or equivalent.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in mechanical drafting or related field.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant design software.
• Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and practices.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience with 3D modeling software, such as SolidWorks or Inventor.
• Previous experience in a consultancy or engineering firm.
