Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Receive, inspect, and store incoming goods while maintaining accurate inventory records.
  • Prepare and maintain inventory reports, ensuring stock levels are monitored and recorded accurately.
  • Manage the issuance of materials and supplies to various departments as needed.
  • Implement and maintain proper storage procedures to ensure the safety and quality of inventory.
  • Conduct regular stock audits to verify inventory accuracy and identify discrepancies.
  • Coordinate with suppliers for the timely procurement of goods and materials.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the storage and handling of products.
  • Assist in organizing the store layout and optimizing storage space.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to internal teams regarding inventory needs.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Minimum HSC qualification.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a storekeeping or inventory management role.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently under pressure.
  • Proficient in using inventory management software and MS Office applications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical ability to lift and move heavy items as required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a retail environment or warehouse setting.
  • Knowledge of supply chain management principles.
  • Certification in inventory management or related field.
