Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming goods while maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Prepare and maintain inventory reports, ensuring stock levels are monitored and recorded accurately.
- Manage the issuance of materials and supplies to various departments as needed.
- Implement and maintain proper storage procedures to ensure the safety and quality of inventory.
- Conduct regular stock audits to verify inventory accuracy and identify discrepancies.
- Coordinate with suppliers for the timely procurement of goods and materials.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the storage and handling of products.
- Assist in organizing the store layout and optimizing storage space.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to internal teams regarding inventory needs.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum HSC qualification.
- At least 2 years of experience in a storekeeping or inventory management role.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently under pressure.
- Proficient in using inventory management software and MS Office applications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy items as required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a retail environment or warehouse setting.
- Knowledge of supply chain management principles.
- Certification in inventory management or related field.
