Job Overview

The 4 Wheeler Technician will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on a range of vehicles. This role requires a strong understanding of automotive systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience and a strong desire to advance their skills in the automotive industry.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify mechanical and electrical issues.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake replacements.
• Diagnose and repair vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, and electrical systems.
• Utilize diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot vehicle issues accurately.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Document services performed and provide clear communication to customers regarding repairs and maintenance.
• Work collaboratively with other technicians and staff to improve service efficiency.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• High School Certificate (HSC) or equivalent.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in automotive repair and maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and components.
• Proficient in using automotive diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification from a recognized automotive technician program.
• Experience with specific vehicle brands or models.
• Knowledge of current automotive technology trends and practices.
